'There Will Be Hair.'  If you have to ask what the title means, you've probably never cleaned a  bathroom used by a complete stranger.

This blog is my attempt to deal with the day-to-day realities of being an AirBnB host.  I'm not aiming for self-promotion or to be a cheerleader for AirBnB - just a way to reach out to other AirBnB hosts so we can pool our collective knowledge and experience and, hopefully, make hosting easier for all of us. Because, let's face it, AirBnB doesn't provide much help beyond the most basic guidance.

So who am I?  I'm a Philly based host with an entire apartment to rent.  I've been hosting for over a year now.  Before this, I was a landlord for 10 years with 8 rental units, all rented with year leases.  AirBnB is my first foray into short-term furnished rentals.  I also have a full-time job with somewhat flexible hours which definitely makes hosting easier.
